Whether you are in a committed boyfriend/girlfriend relationship or married, you should know the signs that he is cheating if at any time you feel something is amiss.  Women are naturally intuitive and when it comes to a cheating partner or spouse, the heart usually speaks the truth.  As you can imagine, being in this position is depressing.  After all, this person is the one you love so thinking that he is having an affair is a horrific feeling.

Instead of allowing your heart and mind to run wild, you should learn about the various signs of an affair so you get to the truth.  Trying to pretend that everything is fine when you know something is wrong only makes things worse.  Chances are you would become moody, irritated, and withdrawn.  If for some reason your partner or husband was not having an affair and you assume he is, your negative actions would create a problem in the relationship or marriage.

Not to sound sexist, but generally, men do not hide an affair as well as women do and the reason is that women are emotional creatures so they notice subtle hints that men overlook.  Some signs of cheating that you would likely see include the following:

•    Picking Fights – It is common for a man cheating on his wife to pick a fight.  With this, you would notice arguments brewing out of nowhere, which would seem odd.  For instance, the two of you might be having dinner after spending a nice afternoon together and all of the sudden he criticizes you about something just to argue.  Typically, the things he would try to start a fight over would be out of his normal character, such as being demeaning and rude.
 
•    Withdrawn – You might also notice that your boyfriend or husband becomes withdrawn and moody.  If he is usually an outgoing person and now he is quiet, preferring to sit in front of the television than have the evening meal with you at the dinner table, this would be a huge red flag.

•    Criticizing Demeanor – In addition to criticizing you, your partner begins to put down other people, work, rules, and just about everything else.  In this case, things that your boyfriend or husband would normally find interesting, appealing, and attractive would be viewed as negative, annoying, and even repulsive.

•    Privacy – Another sign of your boyfriend or husbands cheating would be him pulling away, preferring privacy.  If you find that he leaves the room and goes somewhere else in the house, closing the door behind him or even gets in the car and leaves without saying a word, this should be a huge concern.

•    Three Little Words – A huge issue is no longer hearing the words “I love you”.  If you find that you are always the one initiating those three little words and you even have to push him to say them back, unfortunately, an affair is very likely. 

•    Turning the Tables – The last sign of a cheating boyfriend or husband is when out of nowhere, he accuses you of having an affair.  This is done purely out of guilt.  In some instances, the man you love might begin accusing you of what he is doing, hoping subconsciously that you are going to become angry, which gives him a chance to get mad in return and leave.
